I enjoy writing and many have encouraged me to write a book-length text on my beliefs about a Jesus-centered response to poverty. In addition, I have several friends in publishing who beleieve there is a market for a book such as this. However…
I am an extrovert. Given a choice between sitting down and writing for four hours or spending time hanging out with the hurting people I minister to or, really, anyone who will listen to me, I choose the people. Every single time.
Additionally, I find I do my best thinking, at least for first drafts, in response to questions. They help me focus and give me a framework. That said, I need your help.
Please ask me some questions. They can be anything that are related to my work with the poor and homeless in some way. Preferance is given to questions that are faith oriented.
They can be as simple as you want, or as deep as you want to go. Anything, as long as it is tied to poverty and faith in some way, is fair game. This can be something you want to know, or something you wish your bone-headed friend would read. Whatever.
Of course, they are confidential and I won’t use your name without permission.
You can just email them back to me at hughlh@gmail.com. Thanks so much in advance for your help.
