The Old Days
Several weeks back, a friend and I were having coffee. We were discussing various people we had not seen for a while. I mentioned one guy’s name and she told me she had seen on his facebook profile that he had been ill because of something he ate. She asked if I had heard from a lady we both know, and I told her I had seen on her blog that she had just broken up with her boyfriend. This went...

Important People
My Dad is the sort of guy who knows lots of people. I am not sure where he got this trait - he was an only child who grew up in the middle of nowhere, the son of a single mother - but somehow he ended up with it.

Ironically, I was working in insurance at the time, but my then-wife was rated as uninsurable by any private carrier, so I had to change from $800 suits in the daytime...

New Policy
Because there are people out there looking for a fight, I am making some changes to my social media policy, effective immediately.
I will not be importing my blog posts, my twitter stream or anything else into Facebook. Somewhere around 70% of the stress I have in my life right now is caused by Facebook, and I just do not have any room for it. I seriously considered deleting the whole page...
